June 4th. The morning broke with blue skies and warm sunshine. It was Rebecca and Patrick’s wedding day. We gathered our things and arrived at Rebecca and Patrick’s beautiful home in Vancouver just before noon. As we arrived Rebecca’s hair and make-up were freshly applied and she looked so beautiful. As we busily captured the details, including gorgeous pink peonie bouquets by Hilary Miles and lovely Elsa Corsi jewelry, Rebecca sat patiently waiting to put on her lace wedding gown. She was oh so calm, relaxing on the sofa while her family and bridesmaids finished readying. At 1pm the limo arrived to whisk Rebecca et al. to St Andrew’s Wesley where Patrick eagerly awaited her arrival.
Rebecca walked down the isle of the beautiful stain glass window church smiling ear to ear. After a beautiful ceremony, we headed out to Gastown and Coal Harbour for the wedding day portraits. The evening reception took place at the beautiful Vancouver Club (www.vancouverclub.ca/weddings/)
and was filled with incredible speeches from loved ones, as well as spectacular food. The room was beautifully decorated and everything ran so smoothly thanks to Tanya Popoff-Peters of Milestone Events. The night finished with custom sweets like cupcakes by Lindsay at Coco Cake and of course plenty of dancing. Thank you to everyone who helped make this day so wonderful.
