Laura and Chase met through mutual friends at Alouette Lake. Laura was still living in Victoria at the time, so they didn’t start dating until a year later! And that was 7 years ago this May!
Chase proposed Christmas morning in 2010. It was their first Christmas morning together at their new place. Chase kept joking that he got Laura another cat for Christmas (they already have one). When he said he had one more present for Laura, she got nervous that he actually did get a cat!
Well she was very happy and VERY surprised when he got down on one knee and proposed! Of course, Laura said YES!
I had such a great time shooting Laura and Chase’s engagement session. Laura and Chase are easy going and absolutely lovely to be around. Plus they are naturals in front of the camera… not to mention, they are pretty good looking peeps.
Can’t wait until your July wedding!!!
