Hayley contacted me a few months ago about having some summer portraits taken of her and her sister, Paige, for her parents. She envisioned summer sunshine and cute floral dresses. We met last night as sunset approached in Burnaby at Deer Lake park and stroled through the forrest and field during the golden hour. I love the light that was available.
Hayley and I met over a year ago at Jamie Delaine’s workshop. She too is a photographer. I have had the pleasure of shooting a number of photographers over the past three years – Hayley is my forth from the workshop itself (1) (2) (3)! Like all the other friends I made on that day, she is lovely, warm, friendly and easy going.
While the focus of the session was on portraits of Paige and Hayley for Mom & Dad, Hayley wanted to capture some solo images for her website, blog, and facebook. I just grabbed a few of the entire session to share quickly – it was easy and challenging – because, as you can see, these girls are gorgeous!
