Crescent Beach Engagement | Rob & Chelsey

I better post this session before these two crazy cats hurry up and get hitched already! The wedding is taking place THIS Saturday at the Langley Golf Club! A lovely little wedding venue right near their home in Langley!

Here is the story of how Chelsey and Rob met: Rob and Chelsey shared a few mutual friends who often got together during the spring of 2008 to play trivia at a local pub. They’d met playiing trivia a few times, but as many love stories go, they never had the chance to connect. That was until March that year. In March, Rob’s parents went out of town and so he, as one might expect, had planned to have some friends over (including Chelsey) for a Revenge of the Nerds party. Fun was had by all during the party, and when the morning arrived Rob woke up early and began to clean up the evidence. Chelsey was the next person awake and, being the super thoughtful person she is, joined him upstairs to help with the clean-up. As they worked away, Chelsey mentioned that she was teaching in the evenings at a nearby ESL school and after more chatting, Rob took this opportunity to ask for her cell phone number. Rob’s hope was to meet up with her one night after her class to get to know her a bit better. His plan worked. They ended up going for tea a couple of times over the next few weeks. It didn’t take long for Rob to ask Chelsey out on a “real date”. When he finally asked, Chelsey just smiled and said yes.

There is no doubt in my mind that Rob couldn’t have been happier or more thankful for his parents going out of town! I am too! I’m looking forward to spending an awesome Saturday with Rob & Chelsey on their very special day this weekend! We are going to have a lot of fun.

Make sure to check back for a preview of their wedding photos next week as well as to hear the story of their engagement.

Chelsey is such a beauty.I LIKE this :).It took me a million years to take this photo because I was laughing non-stop at Rob’s jokes and couldn’t keep the camera still!
