Andrea & James met at a Boca Juniors football (soccer) match in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 2007. They were both travelling around South America when they bumped into one another for the first time. James wooed Andrea over a tango. Seriously guys, take note of this if you are looking to woo someone. A one-year long distance relationship ensued (James lived in England, while Andrea was living in Calgary) before both Andrea & James agreed to settle together in Vancouver. And I’m so glad they did.
Naturally, James proposed to Andrea while on vacation in Sevilla, Spain. He got down on one knee at Plaza d’Espana, and asked in Spanish (even though Andrea claims he doesn’t speak it). Andrea said ‘si’! Then they celebrated in Ibiza!
James’ favourite movie is Airplane and the James Bond movies. Andrea really loves period pieces like Pride and Prejudice and Dangerous Beauty. Hence the stellar book choices in the final few shots. Just awesome.
Andrea & James’ wedding will take place at the Teahouse. A gorgeous and intimate wedding venue nestled in Stanley Park, Vancouver.
