Langley Walk About

Finally! A day of sunshine! Thank youuuu!

This morning Adam was super nice! After I was all sad that we didn’t have any milk for tea, he left the house quickly to run to Starbucks so we could have Starbucks in bed (he’s such a great guy!!) and after a late start to the day, we did some location scouting in Langley.

Location scouting after dayyyysssss of rain = squishy-mucky-yucky-wet-footed-good-times.

After that – we scouted some amazing show homes. We love open houses. I took a few shots of the cute decor.

Engagement Sessions: What to Wear

Holy moly March and April are raspberry jam packed full of e-sessions! I can’t even wait! The most common question I am getting these days is:

“Hey Lyndsay, you fashion queen you, what should we wear for our outrageously awesome shoot?” (Okay that’s slightly exaggerated - no one has EVER said that in that exact way, but let’s just see what I would say in response anyways)…

“Well (insert engaged couple’s name) let me tell ya’…”

“… I’m no stylist, nope, but I do know that those couples that go a little out of their way to dress and look extra great for their e-session never regret it. Ever. When they look extra great – their photos are just that much more, well, wow! True story.

Here are some pointers and inspirations to get you started. These are things I like personally. Add your own flaire (or bam) if you prefer!”

The Official Fun & Zany Winners!

The votes are in!

The race was dangerously close!

But in the final push to the finish your first place winners managed to seal the deal with their outright zany photos (and strong network support)!

Thank you to all the family and friends that came out to support your most loved couple. Over 250 of you voted! And I have no doubt that they appreciate each and every one of your votes to help them land the prize!

I gotta tell ya! Melissa wanted this more than anyone. No really. She wanted this bad! Trust me on this. I’m happy to announce that she can stop worrying and start celebrating her win! (Insert happy snow shoe jumping dance). Congrats to Mel and Jon! I look forward to a very fun and zany shoot with you both! I know you will rock it.
