I am in love with this wedding. I have to tell you: It was so fun! No joke.
Melissa and Jon are so full of character and their amazing wedding party, Tresley, Jennifer, Simon, and Kevin were just awesome. Big hugs to you all for making the day so perfect…
Well, almost perfect… This was the 2nd worst weather I have ever shot in! Usually September is amazing for weather. But not this year. It poured rain non stop and the entire party was planned to be held outdoors! Yep.
The day before the wedding, Jon, the all-star groom, went out and bought about 20 umbrellas. Don’t you think he is quite the guy? Despite the fu-drizzle, everyone stayed in a stellar mood.
When Adam and I arrived in Oyama (just outside of Kelowna where the wedding was being held) we frantically scouted out sites for shooting. Originally, the plan was to go to a local winery, but that fell through. And I gotta say, I am glad it did.
Oh my gosh. Melissa looked incredible in her BCBG gown. It fit her so perfectly!! One of the little girls wanted her picture taken with the princess. Cute!!
