Who’s excited? I am! I am! And with any luck, you are too!
Michelle and Pravic’s Wedding on Saturday was a heck of a good time. It all started bright and early (especially for Michelle who started her day at 4:30 am!). By 9 am, when I arrived at the Celebration Pavilion in Vancouver, the sun was already sooo hot! I guess that’s how August likes to roll. Despite the heat, the ceremony venue was already looking wonderful, with loads of fresh and bright flowers rolling in and guests slowly trickling in behind.
Michelle arrived looking stunning and perfectly calm and collected. I have to say, Michelle has the most gorgeous smile and amazing laugh. I can hear it when I see the photos. She was totally beaming! I just love her!!
The ceremony was lovely and even funny. The little ring bearer came down the isle with the ring pillow held over his face. So cute! I loved how personalized and sincere Kevin, the wedding commissioner, was. Oh and the heat was sooo much that the videographer actually did a (very graceful) passing out act while up on the stage! Don’t worry, she was okay and we had a good laugh together, ten glasses of water later, and pretty much no one even noticed their eyes were so glued to M & P.
Well, Michelle and Pravic met when they first worked together. You might recall that they are sceintisty peeps. Word is Pravic pursued Michelle like crazy until she agreed to go out for a date. I guess she is glad she did, as the rest is now history and they are most definitely married and going to live happily ever after! Yay!!!
Following the ceremony was a standing reception at Season’s in the Park. A lovely little venue with killer views. Then it was off for some portraits. Stay tuned for part II – the reception photos… it was a pretty wild time… did someone say b-boy dancing?? :).
